Host a Movie Event

We are very excited to introduce to you the most powerful way to meet and influence public employees and public retirees in the US by hosting Pension Fight Club.

We offer single movie event licenses as well as an unlimited exclusive license (which provide you  the ability to play the movie an unlimited amount of times in a specific theater for a specific time period).

For those who work with public employees and public retirees (i.e., Federal, State, County and City employees), this movie event enables you to provide meaningful financial solutions to this audience at a critical juncture:  when they learn about the problems with their public pension and the funding problems with Social Security.

The Public's Reaction

“If I knew that’s what the movie would be, I would have brought 10 people with me.”

RPEA (the Retired Public Employee Association) which hired Edward Siedle to do a forensic audit of CalPERS hosted the first showing of 'Pension Fight Club'.  (His report was released the day after the premiere of this film).

The most common response from people after viewing the movie was, "If I knew that's what the movie would be, I would have brought 10 people with me."

This is a movie that has legs...real referral growth.  Nothing like this has ever been made.  It has grassroots power.

We recommend the following 'Homework' for anyone interested in hosting the film.

“When is the last time a financial advisor had anything for a public employee?”

Edward Siedle

Edward Siedle called film director, Doug Orchard, and asked this question.  This was before Con Movies, Inc. decided to fund the production of this movie.  Mr. Siedle's point was that financial advisors offer products and services that they sell.  However, they don't provide information to public employees that the public employees themselves view as their 'chassis'  for their retirement:  the public pension and social security.  This movie changes that.

National Advertising Campaign

One Central Page for All Theater Listings.

Each theater event has its own link and reporting system for the host to view attendees' information.  It's part of a general tree showing all theater events across the US.  This "landing page" typically is the highest stated cost of any event's marketing effort.  This is already done for you.  Less cost to promote the event.  No landing page fee.  It's all done.  You only pay for the actual Facebook ads at the budget you want to have placed.  The labor is done for you.  Ads done.

National Advertising Campaign.  Imagine all ads running across the country going back to the same site.  Imagine all word-of-mouth referrals going back to the same site.  Imagine all  state retirement groups telling members about events going to the same site.  Nothing like this has ever been done.  Ever.  Until now, anyone hosting an event had to rely exclusively on their own marketing spend.  Now it's only 1/3 of the marketing effort.  The other 2/3rds include the world-of-mouth grass-root efforts of pensioners and the state retirement groups.  The groups are actively promoting this to their members and marketing using their budget to non-members as well.  (See their mailing to the right of their magazine where it's the front cover).

Why You Should Participate

Get in front of massive numbers of public employees and retirees

  • Be "part of the solution"

    • Sponsoring the event

    • Help recruit for existing 'Pension Fight Clubs' (the state retirement groups)

    • Provide meaningful financial solutions

By sponsoring an event that brings in public employees and public retirees, you show a movie that lets these folks know they need to join their state retirement group (the local pension fight club).  These groups want to recruit.  As their membership grows, so does the power of their pension fight club.  They need you. They will likely have a flyer for you to hand out about them at your event.  They will likely provide you with additional opportunities to present to their members.

The public employees and public retirees need meaningful financial solutions as they learn about the problems with their public pension and social security.

Format for the Movie Event

Additional Content Options Besides the 'Feature Film'

We support theaters who work with a DCP.  A DCP is a universal, standardized file format required by movie theaters.  It's shipped on an actual hard drive that we mail to you and you provide to the theater.  It's a super high-quality 4k format that plays in Dolby Digital Surround Sound.  The movie was Shot on Red (many major Hollywood productions use this cinema camera). This DCP format is what the major theaters require including AMC, Cinemark, etc.  As a newly released MPA rated film, the movie should quality to play in all major theaters.

Instead of having a soundless theater for those who come early, we recommend having something play on screen prior to the start time.  You may want to create a looping pre-show that includes an explanation of your services.  It may include a  'silence cell phones', short testimonials, an explanation why you are hosting this event, services you provide, etc.  You may also elect to play additional trailers for other movies like The Baby Boomer Dilemma'.

As Host, you may elect to create your own pre-show content or have nothing play other than the feature film.  If you elect to create your own pre-show content, we will supply you with the same vendor who made our DCP to make one for you.  (They will charge you a fee).  If you supply your own content to the theater, you would submit your DCP (hard drive) as well as our DCP hard drive, and you would  instruct which files the theater is to ingest into their projector and what order to play them.  They simply play the DCP content as a playlist.

Two License Options

  • Unlimited Showings from til end of 2026

    • $12,000

  • Single Event Only

    • $1,500

Unlimited Showings = Exclusive

  • You Choose Your Theater

    • No one else can show it in that theater during the term

    • Show it unlimited number of times in that theater from now til the end of 2026.

    • You have first option to renew next year
    • If you would like to also show it in other theaters (and someone doesn't have an exclusive there, you may do so.  If can only be the same financial advisor doing it though.  (Also, you must clear it with us as we'll need to get you a DCP for that location and insure the site is cleared of conflict.).

Other Costs

  • Theater Rental

  • Actual Facebook Ads

Theater Rental

This varies considerably by theater, area, and the time or day and day of the week you select.

If you elect to purchase the Unlimited Showings license, you generally can negotiate a substantial savings rate to show it more than 1x per week.

Facebook Ads

You will not need to pay for the placement of the ad, but just the ad itself if you work through our project manager.

Total Cost

Screenshot 2026-06-25 at 4.27.08 PM_0.5x.jpg
Screenshot 2026-06-25 at 4.29.47 PM_0.5x.jpg

Total Cost = License + Theater + Ad

Those selecting the unlimited showings option will ultimately achieve a low cost per event that likely is much more appealing than other options.

Hypothetical Scenario #1:

Unlimited License

Assume an advisor shows the film 32 times in a quarter.  Also assume they spend $1,000 per showing in the theater rental and a weekly ad spend of $2,000 per week.  Their total cost per event would be roughly $2,250 (all in).  This unlimited license actually breaks down in this scenario to only be $375 per showing.   Now assume this yields an average attendance of 80 people. Attendees will likely be higher on repetitive showings due to referrals to the same theater.

Hypothetical Scenario #2:

Single License

Assume the advisor spends  $1,250 for the one-time showing for the theater rental, $2,000 for the Facebook spend, and $1,500 for the single-use license.    Their total cost per event would be roughly $4,750.  We would recommend a larger ad spend if it's a single only showing due to lack of referrals from previous showings.
